Summary: The authors present a new method in treatment of spinal spasticity in multiple sclerosis, based on
subarachnoideal administration of baclofen by a programmable implantable pumpMedtronic USA.The
paper provides an overview proceeding from the historical first subarachnoideal application of
baclofen up to two case reports with very good treatment effect.
