Summary: Objective: The authors demonstrate the case report of the fibrothecoma of the ovary.
Design: Case report.
Setting: Department of Gynaecology and Obstetrics, Vítkovice Hospital Blahoslavené Marie Antoníny , Ostrava.
Method: The case and difficulties in diagnostic procedure of larger fibrothecoma of the ovary
were discussed.
Conclusion: The tumor described in this case report ranks among the rare ovarian tumor.
