Summary: The authors present the case report of Swan-Ganz catheter-induced pulmonary artery perforation during cardiac surgery,
which wassuccessfully treated by pulmonary resection.Theyanalyzemechanismof catheter-induced injury and therapeutic
options of this rare but often fatal complication with regard to patients undergoing cardiac surgery.
