Ethical aspects of sociological research on patients ZAMYKALOVÁ L., ŠIMEK J. Ústav pro lékařskou etiku a ošetřovatelství 3. lékařská fakulta UK v Praze Přednosta: doc. MUDr. Jiří Šimek, CSc. |
|
Summary: The authors offer an insight into sociological research and reflect upon various ethical problems connectedwith it. An interview can be useful for a patient but it can also bring some risks. One issue is how to obtain "correct" informed consent with an interview in a qualitative research when it is impossible to foresee allof the topics of the interview. A páper based on performed interviews can be interesting but it can also bemortifying for both the subjects/patients and health care providers.
