The authors attempted in the submitted review to discuss briefly the problem of fatigue in multiple sclerosis.They deal above all with the controversy in the recent and contemporary approach as regards recommendation of physical activity of thus affected patients.Formerly these patients were recommen- ded a restful regime and fatigue was considered as the limit of permissible load.This is at present in the foreground of therapeutic interest and one of the possibilities how to influence fatigue is an aerobic load.The neurogenic type of fatigue and fatigue as a manifestation of exacerbation of multiple sclerosis or another disease however remain the limit of burdening of the patient.
