Summary: A periodontological orthodontic therapeutic procedure was recorded in a female
patient with the diagnosis of rapidly progressing periodontitis. In the course of periodontological treatment absorption of the root of tooth 21 occurred. After straightening of the tooth by
orthodontic treatment the periodontium regenerated.
