Psychiatric Syndromes Observed after Damage of the Right Hemisphere

Summary:

       The authors submit a summary of psychopathological symptoms and syndromes which are ascribed to damage of the right cerebral hemisphere. These syndromes differ from manifestations of primary mental disorders. They involve delusions pertaining to the place, persons, as well as somatic and sexual delusions. In the conclusion the authors mention also two culturally linked syndromes: koro and dhat. They discuss the significance of these disorders.
