Summary: The author submits a summary of literary data on the course of pregnancy in patients with chronic HCV
infection and the problem of vertical transmission of HCV. Both these subjects were so far beyond the focus of
interest and therefore there is not much work in the literature concerned with these problems. In the
conclusion the author submits his own experience with the problem.
