Summary: Choroidal detachment may be a symptom of broad spectrum of diseases, including haematological malig¬nancy. In this páper, the authors present a čase report of a 70-year old man with choroidal detachment, in whom hyperviscosity syndrome as the cause of eye problems has lead to the diagnosis of multiple myelo-ma.
