Glaucoma and Myopia
Papilla of the Optic Nerve
The author investigated a group of 80 eyes of 40 myopic patients, 20 of whom are
treated on account of glaucoma (17 cases of primary open angle glaucoma and
3 cases of pigmentary glaucoma), another 5 patients were on the records with
suspected glaucoma and in 15 glaucoma was not detected.
The work is focused on possible differentiation of typically myopic papillary
changes and the papilla of myopic eyes altered by glaucoma
