The paper describes various cases of sepsis and our experience with the antibiotic treatment. A range of antimicrobial agents is used, but the application of piperacilin/tazobaktam is an effective method of treatment in the last time. Based on our observations, there is a real interest in piperacilin/tazobaktam in cases with renal failure. The course of sepsis and recovery period are followed.
