Summary:
Coeliac disease is an autoimmune disorder induced by the gliadin fraction of gluten. Intestinal symptoms in
adults can be very undistinguishable whereas the extraintestinal symptoms dominate in the clinical picture
of the disease. In our páper, we deal with metabolic and inflammatory joint symptoms, which can lead to the
correct diagnosis and appropriate therapy of coeliac disease. To illustrate this, we present two čase reports,
which dosely describe our diagnostic process.
