Objective: Examined ultrasonographically detected cysts of choroid plexus. Setting: Department of obsterics and Gynaecology of 3 rd Medical Faculty, Charles University and Intitute for Care of Mother and Child, Prague, Czech Republic. Case report: Ultrasonographically detected cysts of choroid plexuses were dissected and exa- mined in three aborted mid-trimester fetuses with a normal karyotype. In all these cases in the connectiv tissue of the wall of (pseudo)cysts there were angiomatous capillary nets. The fluid filled cavities were not lined by any epithelium The ependymal lining was present only on the outer surface of the (pseudo)cysts. The choroid plexuses (pseudo)cysts represent a temporarily developmental anomaly affecting vessels of choroid plexuses.
