Summary: The authors present the results of 5-years follow-up of infectious complications of central venous catheters in children. They evaluated the relationship
between infectious complications and the cannulated vessel. In agreement with the literature they marked the internal jugular vein and the femoral
vein as the most dangerous vessels.
