Summary: Patent foramen ovale (PFO), atrial septal aneurysm and Chiari’s network are known risk factors for
cardioembolic stroke. We report a case of young woman with pulmonary hypertension and PFO treated
by implantation of Amplatzer occluder after paradoxical embolism.
