Summary: Dyspeptic upper gastrointestinal symptoms and delayed gastric emptying occur frequently in
patients with diabetes mellitus. Prokinetics are drugs which are used in medical treatment of
motility disorders in patients with diabetes. Itopride hydrochlorid is the optimal drug for the
therapy of motility disorders in diabetics.
