Presented is a case report of a young male hospitalized for acute cervical lymphadenitis. Diagnosis of Lemi­erťs syndrome was based on the isolation of Fusobacterium neerophorum in blood culture in a patient suffe-ring from cervical lymphadenitis and ipsilateral thrombosis of véna jugularis interna. The authors point to the broad spectrum of affections within the framework of differential diagnostics of the lymphadenitis syndrome.
