The author presents the names and principles of methods used in a routine diagnostics and pre-clinical research of autoimmune paraneoplastic neurological syndromes. Selection of the most suitable method is crucial because of the demands on high sensitivity when concentrations of antibodies and as well as the localization of antigens vary significantly in different syndromes.
