In the submitted paper the authors discuss biliary cystadenomas and cystadenocarcinomas, mesenchymal hamartomas, biliary and simple hepatic cysts and liver abscesses. The authors describe in detail changes which can be observed on US, CT and MRimages. They emphasize also morphological and anatomical appearance of these tomorous processes. The correct understanding of diagnostic possibilities and limitations of different methods is the crucial factor in differential diagnostic consideration.
