The author presents a case-record of primary lymphoma of the brain, confirmed by histological and post-mortem examination, with a typical MR picture. The tumour was a multinodular expansion in the area of the corpus callosum and basal ganglia with subependymal spread into the lateral ventricles. In the discussion the author deals with differential diagnostic problems and in the conclusion he emphasizes the importance of the image for decision on correct therapy.
