The authors present 3 cases of self-mutilation through the injection of foreign materiál under penile skin with the aim of increasing the diameter of the penis. Self-injection of foreign materiál under the skin of the penis is usually followed by complications arising from a tissue inflammatory reaction or a granulomatous reacti¬on to foreign bodies/material. These complications often lead to immediate or delayed surgical intervention.
