The harmfulness of skin irradiation in solaria has been sufficiently proved even the molecular level. What remains is the epidemiological education, which should begin and continue on long-term basis in consulting rooms of all physicians. Such activity should be based on relevant argument from reliable and recent sources. The paper therefore refers to summaries of this year’s three-continental meeting of the International Investigative Dermatology (IID) in Miami, Florida, U.S.A.
