Quality assurance and proficiency testing are not limited to advanced health care systems, but are integral parts of laboratory testing in different fields. The ways how the quality assurance is applied are different and correspondingly differs also their effectiveness. To find out comparable systems of quality assurance caused constitution of different regulations,quidelines andsuggestions,whichin contrast to the tendency for the highest universality, have often limited operating space. Our entry to EU stresses on broad application of quidelines for the best laboratory practice and quality assurance realized in process of accreditations.
