Summary:
The authors refer about laparoscopic gastric resections
for benign gastric tumours in the group of 3 patients
(adenomyoma, ectopic pancreas, leiomyoma). All operations
were performed in cooperation with the gastroenterologist.
The lesion was localised by means of gastroscopy
and the extent of the resection was determined, too. In the
postoperative course all typical advantages of laparoscopy
could be seen – short hospital stay, minimal need for
analgetics and early come back to full physical activity.
The authors concluded, the laparoscopic operations for
benign gastric tumours are the proper alternative to open
surgery.
