The theracie surgery as the determinant facter has nct been deseribed yet. By that reasen we present the case-repert tf the two73-year dd patients with pseudabstructicn tf the large intestine after thcracctcmy. In beth cases this syndreme required urgent surgery and treatment tf the perfcratiai tf caecum frem distenticn. On the basis tf authers" cwn experiences certain therapeutic mements are discussed. Althcugh censervative appreach is preferred the surgery remains elementary therapeutic proceduře.
