In two patients the disease was manifested by a tumour of the lower lip, in one patient the infection was in the maxillary sinus and in nine patients there was an inflammation in the area of the mandibular angle. The most frequently applied treatment was parenteral administration of large doses of penicillin. In all instances treatment was successful and there were no relapses of the disease.
