DentEd is one of the 36 thematic projects aimed at the problems of Higher Education in the framework of the European Union. The program is oriented to the increasing of education standards and intensifying of international collaboration among European Universities with pregraduate dental/stomatological education. Exchange of experience is realized by means of expert group visits of single faculties. The Faculty of Medicine, Palacky University, was the first in the Czech Republic and outside of the European Union to join this project and, at the same time, the first Faculty outside of E.U. visited by an expert group. The author reports on the objectives of the Project, the course and results of the expert group visit at the Faculty of Medicine, Palacky University.
