Supernumerary Teeth in the Premaxilla Krejčí P. I. stomatologická klinika LF UP a FN, Olomouc, přednostka kliniky doc. MUDr. J. Stejskalová |

Summary: In a group of 134 children, mean age 10.4 years, the author investigated the
distribution of incidence, site and morphology of supernumerary teeth in the frontal portion of
the upper jaw and their effect on the adjacent permanent incisors. 90% of the supernumerary
teeth were in the region of the middle incisors. Impaired eruption of the incisor was most
frequently caused by the tuberculate type of supernumerary tooth.
