Regarding the current situation, this preventive measure is again being recommended by professional organizations of both pediatricians and pediatric dentists, but under adjusted dosage pattern. The aim of this paper is to present the latest information on fluoride tablet supplements and the dosage pattern and indications thereof. This article presents the dosage schemethat has been lately proposed by theAmerican Academyof Pediatric Dentistry and the International Association of Pediatric Dentistry.
