In thr submitted paper we present two surgical procedures for treatment of internal disorders end osteoarthritis of theTMJ, arthroscopy and arthrotomy. Indications procedures their advantages and post-operative care are described. Due to the unknown etiology we prefer a less invasive approach using arthroscopy, and we indicate arthrotomy for more advanced stages and when simpler methods fail.
